Looking Behind to Get Ahead

It's the time of year when most people begin to turn their attention toward New Year's Resolutions and setting new goals. The New Year often evokes the desire to think about how the next year can be great. Rather than jumping straight to what's ahead, I'd encourage you to look at the year behind us and consider what you've completed this year. Spend time reflecting, appreciating and acknowledging your accomplishments. Celebrating your wins and growth better sets yourself up for "What's Next?"

Self-reflection entails asking yourself questions about your values, assessing your strengths and failures, thinking about your perceptions and interactions with others, and imagining where you want to take your life in the future.

- Robert L. Rosen

2021 has been quite a year, hasn’t it? Not quite like 2020, but certainly a year where we've all continued to be flexible, patient, resilient and grateful.

What mindset would you like to bring into your life in 2022?

Prior to diving headlong into 2022, I invite you to set aside time to assess what 2021 was for you. Find 30-45 minutes of quiet time where you can reflect on the following questions.

Wishing you helpful insights and new intentions for yourself.

With Joy and Gratitude!
